Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates

To obtain a record, you must write for a request form from the
Registrar General's Department in order to purchase
an official copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate. Deliver the form
with the appropriate fee as set out below. This process will take 2 to 3 weeks.

Birth Certificate
If you know the Entry number assigned to the certificate: J$100 per copy
If you do not know the Entry number: J$170 per copy

Death Certificate
If you know the Entry number assigned to the certificate: J$100 per copy
If you do not know the Entry number: J$170 per copy

Marriage Certificate
If you know the Marriage Officer's name: $J100 per copy
If you do not know the Marriage Officer's name: J$170 per copy
